Built in 2001, by Thoma-Sea Boatbuilders of Houma, Louisiana (hull #118) as the M-2 for Massie Towing of Bourg, Louisiana. The tug was later acquired by Crosby Marine Transportation of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Skipper. Powered by two Caterpillar 3508 B diesel engines, for a rated 3,600 horsepower. The tug is also fitted with kort nozzles. Her electrical service is provided by two 65kW generators. The tug’s capacities are 49,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 4,000 gallons of potable water. The towing gear consists of a Markey towing winch, and one capstan. In 2014, the tug was acquired by Dann Ocean Towing of Tampa, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Captain Willie Landers.
