Built in 2008, by A and B Industries of Morgan City, Louisiana (hull #318) as the Captain Willie for Odyssea Vessels Incorporated of Berwick, Louisiana. However, in 2014 Odyssea sold its Towing Vessel Division to concentrate fully on the OSV segment of the industry. The tug was acquired by Crosby Marine Transportation of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Dolphin. Powered by two Caterpillar 3512 diesel engines, Twin Disc 5600 reduction gears at a ratio of 6.09:1. For a rated 6,000 horsepower. The tug’s capacities are 51,000 gallons of fuel, 1,350 gallons of lube oil, 350 gallons of hydraulic oil, and 3,000 gallons of potable water. Her towing equipment consists of a Markey TDSD 32 WF towing winch, outfitted with 2,500(ft) of 2(in) towing wire.
