She “married” to the 404(ft), by 76(ft), by 27(ft), 80,000(bbl) barge Dr. Robert J. Beall. That was constructed for Harley Marine Services in 2014. By the Zidell Marine Corporation of Portland, Oregon. She “married” to the 404(ft), by 76(ft), by 27(ft), 80,000(bbl) barge Fight Fanconi Anemia. Which was constructed simultaneously at Vigor Shipyard in Seattle, Washington. Named for Fanconi Anemia is a rare genetic disease thatcauses bone marrow failure and affects the development of healthy blood cells. By naming the barge as they did, Harley Marine sought to bring awareness to this rare genetic disorder and to honor those who have fought or are still fighting the disease. (Birk Thomas)
