Powered by two Tier 2 compliant Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines with Reintjes WAF1137 reduction gears at a ratio of 7.087:1 turning 9.5(in) shafts two Rolls-Royce four bladed stainless steel GWAN 104(in) by 77(in) pitch, fixed pitch propellers for a rated 4,200 horsepower. Her electrical service is provided by two Tier 2 compliant John Deere 99kW generators 6068T 120/208V. The tug’s towing gear consists of an INTERcon DD200 double drum towing machine with level winder and capstan outfitted with 2,200(ft) of 2.75 (in)galvanized cable on one drum and 1,000(ft) of 1.75(in) galvanized cable on the second.
